🚴‍♂️ Sponsored Bike Ride from Glossop to Amsterdam | In Memory of Our Mum, for Karen’s Haven 💛

On 21st September 2025, my brother Wesley Coulding and nephew Lee McNamara will be taking on an incredible challenge — cycling all the way from Manchester to Amsterdam — in loving memory of our beautiful mum and grandmother.

This sponsored ride is in aid of Karen’s Haven, a charity close to our hearts that supports those living with COPD (Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease). Karen’s Haven was established to honour our mum’s legacy, and to continue the vital support she believed in for families affected by this and other life-limiting illnesses.

Every mile pedalled is a step closer to improving lives.

We are incredibly proud to announce that a cheque with the funds raised will be presented at the Lords & Ladies Charity Ball on 11th October 2025, a special night dedicated to celebration, remembrance, and hope.

We’d be so grateful for your support — whether it’s through donations, words of encouragement, or by spreading the word. Every contribution, big or small, helps make a real difference to those battling COPD and other life limiting conditions as well as supporting families and carers.

Meet the Riders

Wesley Coulding – A devoted son of Karen, father, and all-around family man, Wes is passionate about keeping our mum’s memory alive through action and heart. Known for his determination (and sense of humour!), Wes has been training hard for this challenge and is riding with pride in her honour.

Lee McNamara – At just 25, Lee, proud owner of McNabarbers in Glossop, is already showing incredible dedication and strength. As Karen’s grandson, this ride holds deep meaning for him — a way to honour his nan’s legacy while pushing himself beyond limits for a cause that means everything to our family.

Together, Wes and Lee are cycling across countries to raise awareness and funds — and they’re ready to give it their all for Karen’s Haven. 💛
